How can I pay for my booking?
When making a reservation online, we only offer payment upon vehicle collection. Payment can be made in cash, debit card, or credit card at the time of pick-up.
Can I cancel or modify my reservation?
Yes, you can cancel or modify your reservation. We kindly ask that you inform us as soon as possible of any changes. There are no fees for cancellations or modifications.
Is there a minimum rental period?
The minimum rental period is typically 2 days (48 hours), but this may vary depending on the season or vehicle availability. Please check when making your booking.
Do you offer hotel delivery or pick-up services?
Yes, we offer vehicle delivery and pick-up services to hotels or other locations within Madeira. Simply provide the exact location when booking, and we’ll coordinate the delivery for you.
Is there an additional fee for returning the vehicle at a different location?
In most cases, returning the vehicle to a different location from where it was picked up may incur an additional fee. Please consult with our team when booking to check the availability and cost of one-way rentals.
Where can I pick up the vehicle at Madeira Airport?
Yes, you can pick up the vehicle directly at Madeira Airport. We will be waiting for you at P0 Express Car Park (next to the Taxis, just outside the Arrivals Terminal). Look for our representative upon your arrival.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
If your flight is delayed, please inform us as soon as possible. We will adjust your pick-up time accordingly, ensuring the vehicle is ready when you arrive.
What happens if my flight does not land at Madeira Airport due to adverse weather conditions?
In case of flight diversions or cancellations due to bad weather, please contact us as soon as possible. Let us know the details of your new flight, and we will make the necessary adjustments to your reservation.
What documents do I need to provide when collecting the vehicle?
When collecting the vehicle, you will need:
Are there any age restrictions for renting a vehicle?
Yes, the minimum age to rent a vehicle with us is 21 years old, and the driver must hold a valid driving license for at least 1 year. Additional fees may apply for drivers under 21.
Can I add an additional driver to the rental?
Yes, you can add an additional driver to your rental. The second driver must also meet our age and driving license requirements. Please inform us during the booking process, as additional fees may apply.
What is your fuel policy?
We provide the vehicle with a full tank of fuel, and we expect it to be returned with a full tank as well. If the vehicle is returned with less fuel, a refueling fee will apply.
Is insurance included in the rental price?
Yes, basic insurance is included in the rental price, covering third-party liability. However, we recommend upgrading to full coverage for added protection, which can be selected when collecting the vehicle.
Do I need to leave a security deposit?
A security deposit is not mandatory if you choose to opt for full insurance coverage during your rental period. However, if you do not select full insurance, a deposit will be required. We recommend opting for full insurance for added peace of mind.
Is there a mileage limit on rental vehicles?
No, we offer unlimited mileage on all of our rentals, so you can explore the island of Madeira at your own pace without worrying about extra mileage fees.
Can I drive the rental car outside of Madeira?
No, our rental vehicles are only insured and authorized for use on the island of Madeira. The vehicles are not allowed to be taken off the island, including to nearby islands or mainland Portugal.
What should I do in case of an accident or breakdown?
In the unfortunate event of an accident or breakdown, please contact our 24/7 emergency support team immediately. We will provide you with assistance, including repairs or a replacement vehicle if necessary.
Do you offer child seats or GPS navigation systems?
Yes, we offer additional equipment such as child seats and GPS navigation systems for an additional fee. Please request these items when making your reservation to ensure availability.
What are your office hours?
Our office is open from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM and 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday (with a lunch break from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM). We are available online 24/7 on weekends and holidays.
